The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our authorisation and settlement systems, specifically focusing on Postilion Realtime and Postilion Office. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning, security, and regular updating of our systems based on Microsoft SQL Server
Main Resposibilities:
- System Administration:
- Administer the Postilion Realtime authorisation system and Postilion Office settlement system.
- Manage applications based on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Collaborate with IT vendors to ensure the seamless operation of various IT systems.
- System Security & Maintenance:
- Oversee the security of systems and conduct regular updates to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Perform analysis on the availability and capacity of managed applications, implementing enhancements as needed.
- User Support:
- Provide second-line support to users, addressing and resolving queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with various internal teams and external IT system providers to ensure coherent and collaborative operations.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to report system statuses and updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with Microsoft server operating systems and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in creating queries/procedures in MS SQL Server.
- Proficient English communication skills (B2 level).
- Familiarity with Postilion Systems (ACI) and financial protocols based on ISO-8583 is a plus.
- Experience in the financial sector or electronic payment services industry is advantageous.
